The DAAD Scholarship Program 2024-2025 has strict criteria to meet for Masters and PhD candidates, which are:
- DAAD language instruction is in English for international students. It is necessary to submit the English language certificate for international students, e.g., TOEFL and IELTS.
- You are required to submit the German language certificate for other programs, e.g., DSH or TestDaF.
- You must be a graduate or have a master’s degree in the required field.
- Two years of work experience is necessary.

- Letter of motivation. If you are applying for more than one course, you have to submit one motivation letter on why you are applying for these courses. (current occupation reference and choice of program total of 2 pages)Â
- Letter of recommendation from your current employer. The letter should be on the company’s letterhead with a sign, stamp, and current date.
- Employment certification and the reemployment letter to reemploy you after returning home country.
- Language proficiency letter: English — TOFEL, IELTS
German — for German course
- Copies of academic degrees — translated into the required language
- Copies of academic transcripts
- Candidates from the People’s Republic of China are required to submit an APS certificate with signed documents.
